JAN ERWIN JABOLIN

Jan Irwin Jabolin, a visual artist, embarked on his artistic journey using acrylic paint as his chosen medium. Armed with a select palette of preferred colors, a paintbrush, canvas, and water, he demonstrates a remarkable ability to create stunning artwork. To share his creative talents with younger generations, he launched complimentary art classes tailored to children who naturally excel in artistic endeavors.

Additionally, EJ is the visionary behind “Artistikraft.” Hailing from Laguna, the Philippines' second-largest coconut producer and an advocate for sustainable living, he recognized the artistic potential inherent in this resource. With deft strokes of pen and acrylic, he transforms coconut into remarkable pieces of art that pay homage to Filipino traditional games.

Furthermore, EJ has made a profound artistic impact by crafting the largest indoor mural in the Philippines. This magnificent masterpiece adorns the walls of Academia de San Ignacio de Loyola in San Pablo City, a proud celebration of the rich heritage of Filipino traditional games.

JOHN MELVIN GARCIA

To honor nature is the central theme of John Melvin Garcia’s paintings. As the world slowly deteriorates due to disregard, exploitation, and misuse of natural resources, the artist aims to use his platform to raise awareness about caring for our "tahanan".

Working with acrylic on canvas, Garcia employs vibrant colors that symbolize nature, lending his paintings a gentle and sincere presence. He focuses on the fluidity of his brushstrokes, which mimic the movements of water and vines, flowing spontaneously and unrestrained.

Melvin has participated in ten group exhibitions and has received ten art awards, including a notable victory as the grand winner in the Moncada Mural Art Contest.
